Data Communications is a wide field, in our experience clients often have legacy systems but want to upgrade their current systems to include APC.

Because of the range of communications available when installing IRMA, legacy systems do not generally pose too many problems.  Should our clients be without any for of communication then we will look at installing whatever system best suits their requirements.  Once again the superb connectivity of the IRMA system makes such system choices both flexible and reliable.

INVETEL is also pleased to be able to offer Mobile Data Terminals (MDT) equipped with GPS location and GSM data communications.  In addition we can provide data collection and transmission software through APC and MDT to a remote Linux Server.  This gives full ODBC support through Oracle to most analytical packages.

INVETEL uses MobiServer from Mobisoft for this purpose and our APC system will work in conjunction with other products from Mobisoft on the same sever.

Mobile Data Terminals

INVETEL can supply MDT from Aplicom.  Aplicom is a leading European manufacturer in its segment today. Aplicom has sold over 25 000 units in 18 countries and has around 100 system integrators and project partners worldwide.

Aplicom provides a complete range of vehicle computers and related software products. All Aplicom products are designed for professional heavy use in demanding vehicle conditions. The products support several means of data communication, cellular phones and communication radios for GSM, TETRA and trunking networks. Aplicom products are also used with satellite and traditional PMR-networks.

Data Transmission

INVETEL supplied units will work with a variety of standards, however GSM and GPRS are increasingly becoming prevalent in non real-time applications. Network conditions vary depending on geography and INVETEL will be happy to discuss your requirements and the prevailing network conditions.
