3.0 Selection of IRMA components
Refer also to selection of sensors and selection of analysers. Each vehicle door gets a number in order to make sure a clear allocation of all IRMA components to it. The numbers start at the door next to the driver and continues in clockwise sense. In trams or trains, the numbers start at the driver's stand A.
The numbers of the sensors at each door are also running in clockwise sense.
In order to specify the IRMA components, the client should, in case of an
inquiry or an order, send to us the completed Questionnaire for the Selecting of
IRMA components from section 3.1. Note this is generally carried out by
existing clients who carry out their own installations; new clients will of
course be assisted in this procedure.
For the specification of the IRMA components and the preparation of installation, above all the number of doors as well as their types and widths are important. The element combination describes how the sensors are to be installed. Data regarding door addresses and the logical polarity of the door contact can be entered in to the Questionnaire in Section 3.1.
